Through Initiation & Self-Practice
The system of Reiki is transmitted through three levels of teachings.
Each teaching is comprehensive training - theoritical and experiential, with specific learning objectives to:
- purify, reinforce and refine your energy channels
- build mindful awareness and practice for your own energetic balance, to help reduce suffering and promote resilience
- enrich your inner toolbox, empowering you to live out your full potential.
The Five Elements of the practice
Five time-honoured elements, precise and efficient, form the basis of the system of Reiki practice.
Our practice and experience already start from the very first level Shoden:
1. Contemplation of the five precepts as well as poems written by the Meiji Emperor, building mindful awareness
2. Traditional techniques and meditations corresponding to each level of practice
3. Initiations, to catalyse your physiological, psychological and spiritual levels of well-being
4. The physical practice, with hands-on positions, on the self and others
5. Four jumons* et symbols are taught, through descriptive and interactive technique (to levels II Okuden et III Shinpiden). *Jumon, literally in Japanese, “sound which invokes a very specific vibration”; in certain cultures known as "mantra".
Reiki workshop
Level I Shoden, in Japanese "First teachings"
For the beginner as well as the experienced practitioner. In group of maximum 8.
Through 2 days, in a comprehensive programme of demonstrations, interactive practice and guided meditation, you develop your innate capacity to balance yourself. Following the traditional technique, the teacher shares four initiations, called "attunements" in certain cultures, stimulating the purification of energetic meridiens.
Traditional techniques and meditations include:
- Kenyoku Ho, practice of energetic "dry bathing"
- Joshin Kokyu Ho, meditation for "focusing the mind on one thing with breath"
- Seishin Toitsu, meditation for "creating a unified mind"
- Shuchu Reiki, practice of "concentrated spiritual energy" in group
The body adapts to and integrates this energetic change with each initiation. Energetically, Shoden stimulates your evolving process and practice of being increasingly "present". You increasingly discover and master yourself along this process. Perceptions evolve and the experience can be profound.
Traditionally, for your benefit, you are much encouraged to practise as intensively as possible during the 21 days following the workshop. With your motivation, the Shoden manual and the support of the teacher, you have the foundation for a rich and beneficial practice.
Participation in Shoden
160 €, for 2 days (manual included)
Marcq-en-Baroeul: 9h30 - 17h et 10h - 17h
